Meet the Press, part one

“There’s kids dying in the war, the price of oil right now----there’s better things to be thinking about in this world than who served Hillary Clinton at the Maid-Rite or who got a tip and who didn’t get a tip”

Anita Esterday, a waitress at the Maid-Rite diner in Iowa, on news reports that Hillary Clinton failed to leave her a tip.

Yes, I thought it was brouhaha over nothing, and showed once again the caliber (low) of what passes for journalism at NPR. How do they manage to pull the wool over people's eyes, leading them to believe that they are both progressive -- or at least neutral -- and in-depth? And of course, the fact that it is still being talked about days later, shows that Americans will swallow the bait, hook, line, and sinker. Iran war, anyone?

That was on NPR?

Did she mean that comment or was she joking? If she actually meant that it would be troubling.....

In American main stream journalism, NPR IS progressive?
