Language Taken Hostage

"They have taken language hostage. We wanted numbers but this is bureaubabble. ... It is not real in any language. We are looking for accountable language and numbers. I might be a rock star but I can count."

- Bono, denouncing G-8 leaders for a lack of timelines and other substantive details in their recent pledge to fight AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis. (Source: Reuters)

Good idea! and then the complimentary T-shirt: "I might be a president but I can't count". Although that's probably already been thought of......I think he was one of those children left behind...

A rock music fan dies and goes to heaven. After all the paperwork was completed, he began to explore. First, he sees Jimi Hendrix, then John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Ian Curtis, Kirsty MacColl, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bono. He is confused and says to a nearby angel "I didn't know Bono was dead." The angel replied, "Oh, that's just God. He likes to pretend he's Bono."
