Quaker Wedding
The good news: I asked my friend J to marry me and she said YES! I'm very happy about this wonderful development in my life!!!!! We are planning to have a Quaker wedding. No date has been set. Contrary to popular belief, my poodle will NOT be the ring bearer. I think he's planning on making deviled eggs.

I already read about this in The Isthmus. Bill Lueders wrote an exposé last week. PETA is outraged and the Madison Police Department refused to comment. A referendum will be on the ballot in November. The NRA is blaming Madison liberals and Fred Phelps says you're going to hell. I can't wait to see the letters to the editor!
Will the wedding march be played by a Ukulele Quartet?
Congratulations!
Well, glad it's causing a stir. I will add that PETA is ALWAYS outraged, so who cares about that.
As for the wedding march, Poodledoc, Jr. will be doing "Little Wing" on his ukulele, with an extended solo in the middle, possible for ten minutes. He wanted to do "Iron Man", but I talked him out of it. Luckily, he'll have plent of time to practice.....
I am very happy for you. Grace said, "What?? He is??? Nobody tells me anything! Molly wants to be the flower girl.
Sorry Grace got left out of the loop. Stuff happens when you are off at Woodbrooke! LOL
As for Molly, no decision has yet been made regarding animals at the wedding. Stay tuned.
If Duke came, he'd engage in "vocal ministry". Woofwoofwoof!
Hey, I know Little Wing! Maybe PoodleDoc, Jr and I could do a duet. I don't have a working ukulele, but I could play Bulgarian tambura.
That's a good idea on "Little Wing", Ed. I particularly like the Reptile's version. I'm not sure Poodledoc, Jr knows it, but would probably enjoy working with you.
I've got to ask: what exactly IS a Bulgarian tambura?
the Bulgarian tambura -- something PETA doesn't want you to have.
Wonderful news, PoodleDoc!
"I asked my friend J to marry me"
This bodes well for your marriage. Friends make the best spouses.
Thanks, Sminthia! I whole-heartedly agree!
