Poodledoc, Jr and the Dragon

Here's Poodledoc, Jr with the mural he and some other kids painted in a class he took at the Williamson St Art Center this summer. His dragon is the red serpentine dragon. He really likes to draw and paint dragons. (click on photo to enlarge).

Thanks, he did the serpentine dragon mainly and some other touches. There were about 6 kids in the class and the mural did turn out gorgeous! I think he will likely take her art classes again this fall, where they do all sorts of different kinds of art (not mural painting). He loved them last year. Was able to work in "mixed media" which seems to be one of his favorite ways...

Who gets to keep the painting?

The teacher is framing it in her fence which surrouds her rather contemplative back yard and studio. Should look nice......

The serpentine dragon gets a 5.9 from the Finnish judge. It would would have gotten a 6.0 but for the lack of a Chili Dog.

Spectacular mural. I hope it's weather proof!

Tell Jr to keep up the cool work! I really like the fact that it was a collaborative piece. It really holds as a single entity. How did the teacher facilitate the collective process? Did the students create story-line behind it?
